International students can apply within the Erasmus mobility programme via an Erasmus Application Form they can download from the official website of the university. The original copy of this form needs to be sent to Reinhard Bachinger (International Relations Office, Kapitelgasse 6, A-5020 Salzburg) by mail before the 31st of August for the winter semester, or before the 31st of January for the summer semester.
After you have received your university’s signature and stamp on this form, please send it to the above mentioned address. Make sure that you have been nominated by your university and that the nomination was sent to the University of Salzburg (International Relations Office, Reinhard Bachinger). This can be done by e-mail, fax, or letter and should consist of your personal data, including the study period at our institution issued by your coordinator or the International Office of your university.
Another possibility you have as an international student is to apply for a university exchange placement. Application for an exchange placement at the University of Salzburg must be made with the appropriate authority at your home university by using our application form for exchange students. Your application documents will then be sent to us by your institutional representative. You also may use the interactive application form; however, if you do so, we still require that the original application form be sent via regular mail.
