The International Research Institute for Climate and Society (IRI), the Center for International Earth Science Information Network (CIESIN) and the Mailman School of Public Health of Columbia University are pleased to announce that the 2010 Summer Institute on Climate Information for Public Health will be held in New York from May 17 to May 28, 2010.

This course targets professionals who play a research role in the operational decision making or public health-care planning, evaluation, surveillance or control of climate sensitive diseases.

Application process
The application deadline is February 15, 2010 and the application must be completed online.
The course will be limited to 12 participants.  Please also be prepared to provide a brief statement on how this course will benefit you, your organization, and the broader community in 300 words or less.

Cost
The cost of the course is US$ 7,750 and includes tuition, hotel, local ground transportation, meals and materials. Limited scholarships will be available.
