The Centro Cultural Montehermoso Kulturunea, in accordance with its desire to support creation and research in contemporary art and thought, announces a call for entries for a series of grants.
The objective of this initiative, which is promoted by the Vitoria-Gasteiz City Council, is to facilitate the production of thirteen selected projects in the following categories:
*ART PROJECT PRODUCTION*
Eight grants will be awarded to develop art projects to be produced during the forthcoming 12 months. Each grant shall not exceed 10,000 EURO, including a maximum amount of 7,000 EURO for production of the project and 3,000 EURO for fee and copyrights. The work produced will be exhibited at Centro Cultural Montehermoso Kulturunea within its 2011 programme.
*CURATORSHIP*
One grant will be awarded to produce a curated exhibition project involving the participation of at least four contemporary artists. The selected project shall be exhibited at Centro Cultural Montehermoso Kulturunea within its 2011 programme.The exhibition project award shall not exceed 15,000 EURO, and 6,000 EURO shall be allocated for the curatorial fee and copyright.
*RESEARCH*
Three grants will be awarded to develop research projects related to Contemporary Art and Thought. Within this section, at least one of the grants shall be devoted to a project related to the development of a Historiography of Feminist Art in Spain. The award for the research project shall not exceed 9,000 EURO. This amount includes the researcher’s fee, as well as project development expenses. The Centro Cultural Montehermoso Kulturunea will be able to suggest a publication of the research work.
*FILM SCRIPT*
One grant will be awarded to produce development of a film script project. The award for development of the film script project shall not exceed 9,000 EURO. This amount is to include the researcher’s fee as well as project development expenses.
Eligibility
Authors of any nationality, regardless of age, can present their projects individually or collectively.
Application process
Applicants should submit following documents:
1. filled application form
2. photocopy of the National Identity Card (or equivalent) of the author/s of the project
3. CV with a maximum length of 4,000 characters.
4. brief dossier covering previous works
5. a dossier on the project to be carried out including: title and development of the proposed exhibition (with a maximum length of 7,000 characters), list of the artists included in the show, attaching a brief curriculum for each of them, data sheet and images of the works (provided they have already been produced), project outlines and images in JPG format with a minimum resolution of 72 ppi, current status of the project, technical requirements etc.

I don’t see any obstacle to that, however you should direclty contact the organizers in order to be sure. Having in mind that I was not able to find any person in-charge for this contest at Monthermoso official web page (http://www.montehermoso.net/index.php) I suggest you to write to the official mail: comunicacion@montehermoso.net
