The Master´s program is jointly delivered by the two largest public universities in Estonia – University of Tartu and Tallinn University of Technology. Upon successful completion of the program, students will receive a joint degree signed by both universities. The international Master`s program in Software Engineering aims at providing students with advanced software engineering and management skills, as well as specialized skills in two major application domains: enterprise systems and embedded real-time systems.

Scholarship

All students admitted in 2010/2011 will automatically receive a scholarship covering full tuition for 2 years of the program (€6600 value).

Additionally, a stipend of €2550 per year will be granted to some students based on academic merit upon beginning of their studies. Information about this stipend will be made available by program managers to admitted students upon arrival and beginning of their degree studies.

General admission requirements

A Bachelor`s degree (or equivalent) in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or a related field. Applicants with a Bachelor`s degree in Mathematics or Natural Sciences, Technology, Engineering, Business and Economics must have completed at least 24 ECTS in Information Technology, including courses in Programming, Database Technology and Software Engineering.
And there are English language requirements.

Applying

There is no separate procedure for applying for scholarships. Students only need to submit their application for admission in the program and send all the required documents which can be found on this page.

    Please can i apply for masters scholarship admission in 1 of 2 universities (tallin or tartu) without english test .because i did all my educational background with an english medium,and i got CREDIT in my english SSCE (NECO) and also our official language was english.

    And about the language requirements: I would recommend you to address studyinfo[@]ut.ee to ask them if your language skills are sufficient for them or not.
