International Model United Nations, Mostar
Deadline: 25/02/2010
After a very successful first edition of the Mostar International Model United Nations (MOSTIMUN) in 2009, we would like to invite young delegates to the second edition of MOSTIMUN, which will be held in the charming city of Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina from 7th till 11th April 2010.
Model United Nations is the opportunity for young motivated people from any background, nationality and education to discuss pressing international issues and take a look behind the scenes of the work of the United Nations. During one week people will have a platform to criticize, discuss, develop public speaking skills, negotiate, debate, fight for common ideas and goals. They will have the opportunity to step in the shoes of a diplomat in a committee by representing a country or by applying as a journalist.
The aim of the second edition of MOSTIMUN was to bring people together in an area that has suffered from conflict in the past. Many people who have contributed to this goal for the past year have seen significant changes. Therefore, MOSTIMUN 2010 continues with even greater enthusiasm and inspiration to bring even more young minds together who are willing to exchange ideas, make a difference in their community and have an amazing and unforgettable experience with the other participants.
