2ANNAS 2010 is an International Short Film Festival which will take place in Riga from 25th-30th May 2010.

2ANNAS 2010 is a free contest consisting of 2 programmes:

International Competition – open to contributions by filmmakers of all national representations, produced by individuals, international film schools, film studios etc. (with film directors aged 20-35). The winner will be awarded with 2000 Euro and “Golden Anna” Statuette from festival’s Generalsponsor HANNU PRO.

Baltic Competition – presents works by Baltic directors, showing the newest tendencies and development of Baltic short film and video production with the aim to proceed exchange of ideas and experience among Baltic young filmmakers (with film directors aged 20 – 35). The winner will be awarded with 1000 Euro and Anna Statuette from festival’s Generalsponsor HANNU PRO

Eligibility
- films and videos of all genres not exceeding a length of 30 minutes (in exceptional cases festival reserves the right to accept films of longer duration)
- director’s age must be 20-35
- for the International Competition films must have been completed on January 1st, 2008 or after, for the Baltic Competition films must have been completed on January 1st, 2009 or after
- films which have been shown or awarded at other international film festivals are allowed to compete
- required format for preview copy is DVD

Submission process
Please, prepare following material before filling the entry form:
1. Synopsis of the film in English;
2. A complete list of dialogue if available (if the work is in English or Latvian);
3. English subtitles (if the work is in another language than English or Latvian);
4. At least 1 photo (jpg).

To enter a film to the contest please follow given guidelines:
1. fill the entry form online and submit it through festival’s web-page (you will receive a filled entry form in print format to the e-mail address you have provided)
2. print the completed form, sign it and send it along with a preview copy of the film to:

Deadline for submissions is 26th of March, 2010. There is no entry fee.
