Office Manager – SPARK, Amsterdam

SPARK is a fast growing, young, dynamic development NGO with 40 staff members in offices in Amsterdam, Belgrade, Mitrovica and Pristina. SPARK develops higher education and entrepreneurship, so that young ambitious people are empowered to lead their post-conflict society into prosperity. SPARK aims to support the ongoing reconstruction process in post-conflict societies by building the capacity of local economic and educational institutions in a way that is lasting and demands the pro-active participation of local communities. The organization actively mobilizes support for its mission within Dutch society, especially with economic and educational institutions.

SPARK is looking for a part-time (20 hrs/week, preferable 4 hours per day) Office Manager (m/f) to provide support to all SPARK staff and to the Board of Directors in particular. Besides daily support to the Directors, this position involves various administrative tasks and general office support to Amsterdam and the offices abroad. S/he will be supported and supervised by the Advisor to the Directors. The Office Manager is stationed at the Amsterdam office and possible assisted by an intern.

Requirements and competencies
- MBO / HBO level
- Working experience in a comparable job
-  Service oriented
- Good organizational skills
- Good to excellent oral and written language skills in English and Dutch
- Good teamworker while able to work independently
- Good communication and social skills and able to work in multicultural setting

SPARK offers
- Contract for 20 hours a week, preferable 4 hours per day;
- Remuneration depending on education and experience up to 2100 euro gross per month on full time basis;
