The City of Modena with the collaboration of the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia organizes Renzo Imbeni Summer School, in order to provide an opportunity for advanced training aimed at graduates and graduating students, with the offer of a course about the European Union and its process of democratic consolidation.

Themes
1. New international scenarios
2. Culture and social cohesion
3. Climate change and energy problems: a global approach
4. The person at the centre of the process of integration
5. The re-launching of the European Union as a global political actor
6. Governing economic processes

Eligibility
Candidates must have a degree or be completing a degree as mentioned above in economics, law, political science and literary humanities disciplines, with classes including courses in at least one of the following subject areas:
• European Union law and/or International law;
• Languages and cultures of the countries of the European Union;
• History and/or economics of European integration.
Candidates must have a level of Italian and English language equal to or above level B2 of the Common European framework of reference for languages set out by the Council of Europe.

Cost
* participation on the course is free, but subordinate to selection through the present call for candidates;
* the Secretariat will provide the 20 admitted participants with board and lodging;
* the Secretariat does not refund travel expenses to reach the city of Modena.

Application process
All interested applicants should submit following documents:
1. application form
2. substitute declaration of certification (in Italian)
3. copy of valid ID card
4. European-format CV, using this customized model (in Italian)
5. cover letter (max 2000 characters)
