Traineeship in EU Agency for Fundamental Rights, Vienna

Financial matters:
1000 EUR/month

Twice a year, FRA offers traineeships for a period of six months. It aims at providing trainees an understanding of the objectives and activities of the Agency, practical experience and knowledge of the day-to-day work of FRA, to put their learning into practice and to contribute to the Agency’s mission. The traineeship periods are:

* 1 October 2010 to 31 March 2011
* 1 April 2011 to 30 September 2011

We strongly recommend that applicants read the Rules governing traineeship (pdf) periods at FRA carefully before submitting their applications.

How to apply:

* Prepare your CV in Europass format (other formats will not be considered). This document should be attached to the “Online Application form” accessible from the recruitment page;
* Complete the FRA online application only for one traineeship period of your choice clearly indicating the department.

Important notice : You can choose for which traineeship period you would like apply. You can apply ONLY for one traineeship period and one Department.
Candidates applying for more than one traineeship period will be automatically rejected.

Applications that do not meet the eligibility criteria or are incorrectly submitted will be rejected. FRA will not return applications to candidates.

For further information on how to apply, please refer to the general Application Instructions.

Employment, in any form, may not be offered at the end of a traineeship unless through a recruitment procedure against a vacancy notice published on the FRA Website.

Due to the great number of applications, only short-listed candidates will be contacted by e-mail by 15 August 2010. Any information about the closure of the selection and the award of the traineeships will be posted on the present page.

    I’ll appreciate if you can tell me if graduated students from Republic of Macedonia( which is NON-European country) can apply for this traineeships.

    In the eligibility part of the Rules governing traineeship periods at FRA it is stated that trainees are selected from nationals of the Member States of the European Union and EU candidate and potential candidate countries.

    I have just tryed to apply fo one of the Traineeships and under Demographic details / Nationality (*) I cant find my Country (Bosnia and Hercegovina). I kindly ask you to inform can I apply to any of listed traineeship, and if it is possible, which Country I will have to choose because that field is mandatory(*)?
