Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iasi organizes and invites students and researchers for the first edition of International Summer School “Energy, Security and Cultural Dialogue”, which will take place from August 29 – September 5, 2010.

The first edition of our Summer School will include lectures, discussions, workshops on environmental issues of European security and international efforts on EU policies regarding energy, challenges generated by diversity in global context and many other issues on the international agenda. Classes will be held by internationally renowned specialists, ministers, parliamentarians and university lecturers.

Eligibility
* 30 students, master graduates, doctoral candidates, researchers, young professionals from Romania, Moldova, Bulgaria, Ukraine, Georgia, Albania and Serbia and other Western Balkan states;
* active people, open and creative;
* working language will be English, so a good command of English is essential.

Cost
* participation fee 30 EUR;
* the participants need to cover the travel and accommodation expenses (rooms on the “Akademos” Hotel University at a moderate price).
