Take Initiative! – Empowering Youngsters to Set Up Local Projects, Luxembourg

Open to: young people, youth leaders, youth workers and coaches of youth Initiatives from Programme Countries
Costs: hosting costs are covered, check with your National Agency about travel costs
Venue: 17 to 22 April 2011, Schengen (Remerschen), Luxembourg

The participating coaches can be professionals or volunteers from NGOs or public bodies and should be willing to accompany the youngsters’ projects.
Interested coaches should have solid communication skills in English, since they are supposed to facilitate the communication in the group.

Tandems of coaches and youngsters will meet for 4 days in Schengen / Luxembourg. Coaches will be provided with tools and methods for coaching and project management, where
as youngsters will be empowered to initiate, plan and implement projects in the frame of the Action 1.2 , Youth Initiatives, of the European commission’s “Youth in Action” programme.

Costs
Accommodation costs will be covered by Luxembourg’s National Agency.
Travel costs to the venue are supposed to be covered by the respective sending National Agencies.
