I guess published articles must be in English language?

    Dear Pave,

Usually that is the case, or they are requesting that you translate the article, or give a brief summary, in English of course. I am not sure what is the case here, so it will be best that you contact Reuters and ask your question.

    Kind regards

It says: "You must obtain the legal right to work in the United Kingdom"

I do not possess the legal right to work in the UK. Does it mean that only citizens and residents of the UK are eligible for this internship?

    Thank you!

    Dear Amy,

That would mean you must be in possession or obtain a working visa, no matter what is your country of origin.

    Dear Amy and Elena,

I 'got stuck' at the same point. Knowing the situation in the UK very well I assume they wouldn't bother helping you out with visa application and unless they do, there is no way you can get it.

I am just looking for a direct contact in RT to answer this clearly, will write if I find sth useful.

    Cheers,
    Zvjezdana

I am looking forward to hearing what they reply to you.

If you know by any chance, can you please help me to answer my previous question here:

“Please note that all of the requirements above should be attached to your application when you apply at online on the Thomson Reuters career site (not including letters of reference)” – does this mean letters of reference are also required and should be sent but not attached? Or only CV, cover letter, and clips of articles should be attached?

    Thank you!

    Best, Amy

If you recognize yourself in these requirements then you are eligible to apply. Based on your little information that you provided, I can only conclude that you are a student, and that meets one of the requirements. I have no idea what you are studying, and whether or not you have a journalism experience or are you fluent in English.

    Kind regards

    Dear Amy,

Seeing as Reuters has many job offers, usually they require letters of reference, but I think this is a case where you do not need one. So you will only need to upload CV, cover letter and clips of articles. You could try and contact Reuters directly if you are still not sure, but I don't think you need the reference letters.
