Katholieke Universiteit Leuven is situated in Leuven, the heart of Western Europe. This University has been a centre of learning for almost six centuries. Founded in 1425 by Pope Martin V, K.U.Leuven is being the oldest existent Catholic university in the world and the oldest university in the Low Countries.

Ghent University or Universiteit Gent (UGent), is one of the biggest Dutch-speaking universities. It is a socially committed and pluralistic university in a broad international perspective. Ghent University comprises in total 11 faculties.

Erasmushogeschool Brussel or Erasmus University College Brussels has six departments with about 20 different programmes where more than 4500 students study.The language of instruction is Dutch. Some departments offer English courses, such as de Conservatory or Business Management.

Universiteit Antwerpen or the University of Antwerp is one of the biggest Belgium universities, the third largest university in Flanders with around 11 000 students. It comprise 7 faculties: Applied Economics , Arts and Philosophy , Law, Medicine , Pharmaceutical, Biomedical and Veterinary Sciences , Political and Social Sciences and Sciences.
