University of Zagreb

The University of Zagreb is the oldest and biggest university in South-Eastern Europe founded in 1669. It is a strongly research-oriented institution, contributing with 50 percent to the total research output of the country. The University consist of 29 faculties, three art academies and the Centre for Croatian Studies. There are over 50,000 full-time students.

University of Zadar

The University of Zadar is Croatia’s first university, founded in 1396. The University has around 319 employees and 5000 students on different levels of education (graduate, postgraduate, supplementary and part-time students). The activities of the University take place on a very attractive location in the historical centre of the city.

University of Rijeka

The University of Rijeka is situated in the city of Rijeka with faculties also located in cities throughout the regions of Primorje, Istria and Lika. The University is composed of nine faculties, one art academy, three departments, University Libraries and the Students Centre. There are bout 13.000 students studying at the University.

University of Split

The University of Split was officially established in 1974. The University has expanded during the course of the past years to include nine Faculties, one Academy of Arts, two University colleges and two University Departments as well as several institutes and scientific units.
