<h3>How to apply</h3>
<p>When you apply online you must indicate if you wish our assistance in finding a place to stay in Copenhagen, to have the help of a mentor or to participate in a pre-semester Danish language course.</p>
<p>In the the application for admission you are required to describe your proposed study-programme at the University of Copenhagen, and your studies at your home university. You will also be asked to upload an official transcript of your studies at your home university. When you have submitted a complete application form for admission to the University of Copenhagen, we will send your application to the relevant departments for evaluation.<br />
Applications may be submitted throughout the year. However, closing dates for applications are:<br />
1 May for entry in September (autumn semester)<br />
1 October for entry in February (spring semester)<br />

<p>Before you start to apply for a Danish Government Scholarship, please visit the <a target="_blank" href="http://www.ciriusonline.dk/default.aspx?id=829" target="_blank">website of the Danish government authority Cirius</a>. Cirius can guide you further in applying for the Danish Government Scholarship.</p>
<p>Firstly you must apply for the scholarship through the relevant authority in your home country within the application deadline set by this autority. If your application is selected by them, they will forward your application to Cirius who then distribute the scholarship applications to the relevant institutions in Denmark, including the University of Copenhagen.</p>
<p>The University of Copenhagen offers a significant number of courses in English each semester. This allows exchange students to put together a comprehensive study programme, which will meet the demands of their home institutions.<br />

Aarhus University has constantly higher rankings on the most important international ranking lists, among the top 100 universities in the world. The largest student organizations at Aarhus University are the Student Union and Studenterlauget. The Student Union represents the main student body at Aarhus University while Studenterlauget represents the students at Aarhus School of Business. Both the Student Union and Studenterlauget are represented on The University Board. The Student Union also arranges annual concerts and seminars, and publishes the student magazine Delfinen.</p></blockquote>
<h3>How to apply</h3>
<p>All applicants with foreign entrance examinations applying for a Bachelor’s degree programme must submit an application before 15 March.<br />
As from app. 1 February, the official application form of the Coordinated Enrolment System (KOT) including admission guidelines can be downloaded <a target="_blank" href="http://www.optagelse.dk/vejledninger/english/index.html" target="_blank">HERE</a>. The KOT brochure is also available at the University Studies Office in Aarhus, at other institutions of higher education and at Public Employment Service Centres (AF).<br />
The application form must be completed and returned with all the required documents to the University Studies Office (Studieforvaltningen) before 15 March at 12 noon.<br />
On 29 July, the University of Aarhus will send out a letter to all applicants informing them whether or not they have been offered a study place at the University of Aarhus.<br />
The applicant must meet and document the general and specific admission requirements before 5 July in order to be considered for admission.<br />
The required Danish language test must also be passed and documented before 5 July.</p>

<h3>Student Scholarships and Exchanges</h3>
<p>New students who have registered for a full-time study programme at Aalborg University but who are not nationals of an EU/EEA country will be charged tuition fee from August 2006.<br />
The faculties of Aalborg University does, however, grant tuition waivers and scholarships to non-EU/EEA students. Students cannot apply for the scholarships but will be nominated by the faculties of Aalborg University when they apply to Aalborg University.<br />
Please note that the deadline is 15 March (15 August when applying for the February intake).<br />

<p>Research, teaching, communication and the transfer of knowledge at the University of Southern Denmark are grouped into five academic faculties:</p>

A good standard of English is required because teaching at the University typically involves student participation, class discussion, project work and student presentations.</p>
<h3>How to apply</h3>
<p>You can apply to the University of Southern Denmark as an <strong>Exchange</strong> (student sent from a partner institution who studies one or two semesters at the University of Southern Denmark and the course credits are to be transferred back to the degree studied in the home country; list of the partner institution) <strong>Guest </strong>(student does not come from a partner institution)<strong> or Degree</strong> student (student who is enrolled to take an entire degree at the University of Southern Denmark).</p>
<p>For admission you must meet the entry requirements (including the language requirement) for the courses you wish to take, meet the application deadline and enclose all relevant documents.</p>
<p>If you are a non-EU/EEA citizen, you have to apply earlier than EU/EEA  citizens to have enough time to apply for residence permit. It takes up  to three months for Non-EU/EEA citizens to get a residence permit.</p>

<h3>Tuition Fees and Scholarships<strong><br />

<p>- Exchange students do not pay tuition fees<br />
- EU and EEA citizens do not pay tuition fees<br />
- there are exemptions for Non-EU/EEA citizens with a permanent residence or the possibility for a permanent residence permit in Denmark</p>
<p>Non-EU/EEA citizens are required to pay tuition fees. The tuition fee covers educational expenses, such as courses, academic supervising and issuing of diplomas and exams. The tuition fees differ depending on what study programme you are enrolled for.</p>
