University of Helsinki

The University of Helsinki has the widest range of disciplines in Finland with eleven faculties concentrate on high-level scientific research and researcher education. The University is bilingual, but in addition to Finnish and Swedish teaching is also provided in English. Besides Helsinki, the University has operations at 20 localities throughout Finland.

University of Jyväskylä

The University of Jyväskylä is a top-ranked university with good links among local business, a wide range of disciplines and active international relationships. It is the second largest university in Finland with around 15,000 students. Core fields in research and education are natural sciences and mathematics, human-centered sciences, sport and health sciences and teacher education.

University of Turku

The University of Turku is the second largest university in Finland and offers study and research opportunities in six faculties: Humanities, Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Medicine, Law, Social Science and Education. Even though the main language of instruction is Finnish, each Faculty offers study opportunities in English to both non-degree and degree students.

University of Tampere

The University is located in Tampere, the third biggest city in Finland. There are also activities in smaller towns of Hämeenlinna, Pori, Seinäjoki, Valkeakoski and Virrat. There are six faculties and nine independent institutes. The University of Tampere is the biggest provider of higher education in Finland for social sciences and the accompanying administrative sciences.
