Utrecht University

Utrecht University is founded in 1636 and located in the heart of the Netherlands.
The UU offers a broad range of undergraduate and graduate programmes, the latter including many English-taught programmes. There are almost 30,000 students at Utrecht University and 8,500 members of staff. Every year, more than 2,000 international students and researchers stay in Utrecht for variable periods of time.

University of Amsterdam

The University of Amsterdam (UvA) is another Dutch University with a long history. It is successor of the Athenaeum Illustre (1632). Has more than 28,000 students, 5,000 staff and a budget of over 487 million euros and it is placed among the largest comprehensive universities in Europe.

Leiden University

Leiden University is the oldest university in the Netherlands. It was founded in February 1575, as a gift from William of Orange to the citizens of Leiden who had withstood a long siege by the Spaniards. In Leiden there are approximately 17,000 students and 4,000 staff members. Leiden’s guiding principles are: International orientation; a research character of the University and maintaining the education’s quality.
