<h3>How to apply</h3>
<p>Students can apply for <a target="_blank" href="http://www.uio.no/studier/emner/in-english.html" target="_blank">Master’s degree programs taught in English</a>. Note that Bachelor’s degree studies at the University of Oslo are only possible in Norwegian. A complete list of all courses offered at the University of Oslo can be found <a target="_blank" href="http://www.uio.no/english/academics/admission/rds/" target="_blank">here</a>. PhD studies are <a target="_blank" href="http://www.uio.no/english/research/phd/" target="_blank">also offered</a>.<br />
International students need to meet some <a target="_blank" href="http://www.uio.no/english/academics/admission/requirements-basic.html" target="_blank">basic requirements</a> in order to apply and be accepted at University of Oslo. One of these is to prove their <a target="_blank" href="http://www.uio.no/english/academics/admission/requirements-english.html" target="_blank">English language proficiency</a>.<br />

<h3>Exchange students and scholarships</h3>
<p>Students are not subject to tuition fees since University of Oslo is a public higher education institution. International students can apply for grants covering their living costs through the Quota Scheme or NORAD&#8217;s Programme for Master Studies (NOMA). Moreover, some international students are entitled to apply for a study loan through the Norwegian State Educational Loan Fund. <h3>How to apply</h3>
<p>Students can choose between study programs taught in English and Norwegian. For a complete overview of these study programs <a target="_blank" href="http://www.ntnu.no/allstudies" target="_blank">click here</a>. As is the case with all public universities in Norway, students are not subject to tuition fees. Students wishing to apply for a study program in Norwegian have to prove their Norwegian language proficiency.<br />
The application procedure for undergraduate and ordinary Master’s degree programs is done through NUCAS, the Norwegian Universities and Colleges Admission Service (Samordnet opptak).  Students who wish to enroll in the international Master’s and PhD programs apply directly to the university. <p>Students can apply for a number of student exchange programs and visit the Norwegian University of Science and Technology. NTNU is a member of the European Commission’s Erasmus and Leonardo da Vinci programs, as well as <a target="_blank" href="http://www.nordplusonline.org/eng/higher_education" target="_blank">Nordplus</a>.<br />
Exchange students can come to NTNU as <a target="_blank" href="http://www.ntnu.no/studies/visitng_and_exchange_students/free_mover" target="_blank">Free Movers</a>, if the university they study at has not signed a formal exchange agreement with NTNU.<br />
