Comenius University, Bratislava

Comenius University in Bratislava is the Slovakia’s biggest university. Most of its faculties are located in Bratislava. It was founded in the same time with the creation of the state Czechoslovakia in 1919. Comenius University has around 30,000 students and 2,000 faculty members.

Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava (STU) is the most significant university of technology in Slovakia. Since its foundation in 1937 more than 115.000 students have graduated. In average, about 19.000 students study at the STU every year.

Technical University of Kosice

The Technical University of Kosice (TUKE) is the second largest university of technology in Slovakia. It was established in 1952, with the aims to satisfy the needs of Eastern Slovakia in education and research. Today the TUKE has nine faculties and around 16,000 students.

The Pavol Jozef Safarik University in Kosice was founded in 1959. The university is named after a 19th century Slovak philologist, poet, and historian.
It comprise 5 different faculties: Faculty of Medicine; Faculty of Science; Faculty of Law; Faculty of Public Administration and Faculty of Arts.

The University of Economics in Bratislava (EUB) is the oldest university of economics in Slovakia, established in 1940. The University provides higher education in the field of economics and business in Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctoral programs for full-time and part-time students. University of Zilina

University of Trnava

University of Trnava (UT) follows the traditions of one of the oldest universities in Central Europe. The original Jesuit university was founded in 1635 by the Archbishop of Esztergom, Peter Pázmány. University of Trnava currently has five faculties, 4 of them seated in Trnava and 1 in Bratislava.
