EVS partner organisations
The Macedonian-based NGO Mladiinfo – FEJS MK (2008-SI-93) is always seeking for EVS partner sending/hosting organisations which would be able to send their volunteers to Macedonia as well as host Macedonian ones. We are inviting your organisation to establish a partnership with us and create a solid EVS volunteer exchange network.
Currently, our partner organisations are from: Slovakia, Netherlands, Portugal and Belgium.

How to apply
1. Find a sending organization
Mladiinfo team are the right people to address to. We are constantly looking for young people aged 18 to 30 who would be interested to be sent abroad to volunteer within the EVS program.
2. Finding a hosting organisation
There are two things you can do:
1. Get in touch with us, in writing (Marija Hristova, EVS Coordinator, evs@mladiinfo.com) or in person in Mladiinfo Center in Skopje and we will help to find you a suitable hosting organisation, while acting as your sending one.
2. You can find your hosting organisation yourself. Search in the European database of accredited hosting organisations. Arrange the communication with your favored organisation, then get in touch with us and we will gladly take up the role of your sending organisation.
Remember, there are five deadlines and the process of finding the right project for you together with the approval procedure may take between 2 and 6 months. Therefore you should contact us one month prior to the next deadline latest. Or you should start looking for your hosting organisation as soon as possible and after you have found it, contact us, but again, no later than one month prior to the next deadline.

Angela Angelevska
“Developing social inclusion and participation through enriching leisure time activities”
Host organization: Centrum Vol’ného Času – JUNIOR (CVČ-JUNIOR)
Place: Banská Bystrica, Slovak Republic
Duration: 03/05/2011 – 02/05/2012
Project: The volunteer will participate on designing and organizing regular leisure time activities for children, youngsters and people, typically with various disabilities or special needs. Depending on the particular volunteer´s interests, the activities can comprise: games, creative entertainment, handwork, discussions, workshops, language conversations, seminars. The volunteer can also be involved in the organization and facilitation of summer camps, preparing and planning international youth exchange project and training courses, etc. The volunteer will prepare and make presentations for various audiences about EVS and volunteer´s home country and culture. The volunteer will also help with development of not yet existing activities and will have time for the preparation of an own project.

“Youth for local community”
Host organization: Semper Avanti
Place: Wroclaw, Poland
Duration: 05/08/2011- 04/05/2012
Project: The volunteer`s main activities are connected with creating a place where children and youth can spend after-class-time in a creative way through developing their interests and cooperation in a group. The activities run by the volunteers are organized in a Multicultural Language Café, a kind of children and youth club, where most of the events will take place. The volunteer wil create and run workshops in the area of intercultural dialogue, tolerance and human rights, animate free time of youth giving them a chance to experience the diversity of Europe, organize activities like watching films, discussions, presentation, local cultural events such as happenings, little performances, making movies, photography, exhibitions, karaoke. During the project the volunteer cooperates with other EVS and Polish volunteers to create and run the activities. Additional activities include language workshops (for groups and for individuals), promotion of participation in European programs with special emphases on Youth in Action program and some administrative and documenting work connected with realization of the project.

“Dobrovoľníci pre Kalváriu II”
Host organization: Nadácia BADEN – POWELLA
Place: Banska Stiavnica, Slovakia
Duration: 01/09/2011 – 31/08/2012
Project: The volunteers will join the renovation and daily life of a famous historical sight – Calvary complex in Banska Stiavnica. It is a unique baroque sight enscribed in UNESCO world heritage list.The main activity is service in reception desk in the visitor centre on the Calvary and guiding the visitors, opening/closing the calvary buildings, cleaning the visitors centre, selling the souveniers. Other tasks of the volunteers are organizing other activities of Baden-Powell scout fundation such as events and trainings for youth, running the youth hostel, reception desk, daily food preparing and cleaning jobs. They are also involved in the organization of a scout camp in surrounding nature, able to participate in the Mother Club, Scout troop activities, and Travellers club (where travel experiences can be shared).

“Shelter of St. Louise”
Host organization: Depaul Slovensko
Place: Bratislava, Slovakia
Duration: 01/08/2011 – 31/05/2012
Project: The volunteer is involved in the daily activities of the shelter and in particular will spend time with the residents. The residents are usually long-term homeless people with an unfavourable health condition that does not require institutional health care in a health facility. The Host Organisation attempts to help the residents to improve their health condition, to obtain social payments, to find a job, to move into a more stable type of accommodation, or to find other long-term institution (pension house etc.). The volunteer’s major role is to make personal contact with the residents of the shelter and to help to make their time in the shelter more meaningful by organising activities for the residents on the basis of their interests and hobbies.

Project: The volunteer´s activities will include helping with projects for youngsters, organizing creative activities (games and workshops) for youngster in the town, taking pictures of organized activities, helping with web site, working with others volunteers, helping with presentation and promotion of our organization, preparing their own project etc.

“Creative youth”
Host organization: Keric
Place: Cadca, Slovakia
Duration: 05/08/2011 – 05/08/2012
Project: The volunteers main activities are organizing a language course for children, teenagers and adults, implementing creative activities for children and youth in KERIC Underground club, organizing Workshops and support at elementary school and a European workshop where the own country is presented in a non-formal way through games, discussions, presentation of own activities and EVS. Besides this the volunteer will work in the KERIC Office doing daily chores.
The volunteer will be involved in youth exchanges, international seminars and trainings organised by KERIC or by partners of KERIC abroad.
