How we work
mladiinfo.com
www.mladiinfo.com was founded at the end of 2008 with a mission to bring international opportunities to local students. The idea for its creation occurred among young civil activists who had already experienced the virtues of transnational mobility and the advantages of international education. Mladiinfo was set up as a solution to the problem of access to information. Gradually developing, the portal has managed to fill in the gaps and feed those who are continually seeking for new challenges and better opportunities.
What started as a spark spread into a cross-border fire as Mladiinfo became a reference portal that provides reliable sources of information and interactively contributes to the transfer of knowledge. Now www.mladiinfo.com has already more than 90.000 visits per month coming from more than 200 countries.
In May 2009 www.mladiinfo.com was selected as one of the top five web portals in the world in the ‘Education For All’ category at the World Summit Youth Award. Mladiinfo won this award competing against 622 web portals from 101 countries in the world. The winner selection was a three-round process carried out by the international expert jury comprising twenty world distinguished experts in this field.
Today Mladiinfo operates in an extended dimension; using not only the internet to reach out to an unlimited audience, but also with its center for education information, located in the “Sv. Kliment Ohridski” University Library in Skopje, Macedonia, set up for face-to-face counselling.
